Itinerary

Day 1 : Galveston

-- - 4:00 pm

Texans flock to sandy barrier isles like Galveston Island to frolic in the warm waters of the Gulf. You could do the same, or make a visit to the stately homes that grace the island. Or go on a mission to mainland Houston, to tour the impressive NASA Space Center.

Day 2 : At Sea

Day 3 : Costa Maya/MEXICO

1:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Day 4 : Belize

8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Belize is an adventurer's paradise with a history that dates back more than a thousand years. Explore the ancient Mayan sites of Xunantunich or Altun-Ha. Swim, snorkel or dive and explore the second largest barrier reef in the world.

Day 5 : Cozumel/MEXICO

7:00 am - 3:00 pm

Sitting just off the gorgeous Yucatan coast, Cozumel revels in its mythic white-sand beaches and world-class coral reefs. Yet Cozumel is also the last stronghold of the Mayas, who settled the island in 300 A.D. Residents still speak Maya, and sometimes wear traditional Mayan clothing. Nearby stand the great pyramids and temples of their ancestors.

Day 6 : Grand Cayman

10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Survey the neatly shuttered shops for bargains, or the twisted rock formations known as "Hell." But there's nothing hellish about the white-sand heaven of Seven Mile Beach. Sample the rum distilled here and be sure to visit the world's only sea turtle farm.

Day 7 : Montego Bay

8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Montego Bay: visit her outstanding underwater marine park at Cornwall Beach. Explore the Chester Castle Great House set on some 200 acres, or tour Rose Hall, a restored plantation house.
