Cruise Deals Inc. was founded by John Keen who was the co-owner of one of the very first online cruise agencies, Cruise Outlet of the Carolinas. Cruise Outlet was sold to a large publicly traded travel conglomerate, Travel Service International in 1998. Mr. Keen stayed on to run their cruise internet fulfillment division in Charlotte, NC, Until leaving to create Cruise Deals in March of 2003. The company has enjoyed tremendous growth in a very short timeframe.

On May 1, 2005, CruiseDeals.com was acquired by the Carlson Companies’ Carlson Leisure Group, which was spun-off as Travel Acquisitions Group in January, 2008. With more than 1,700 travel agency locations, along with loyalty travel fulfillment and call centers, in the United States and Canada, Travel Acquisitions Group serves millions of individual corporate and leisure travelers, as well as select destinations. With their backing and support, CruiseDeals.com will continue offering their customers the same level of support and professionalism they have come to expect.
